Sorbothane ultra-soft polyurethane rubber and space exploration have gone hand-in-hand for decades. Whether it is sensitive electronics, cameras, or other payloads that engineers need to protect, we have helped. There are multiple characteristics that make Sorbothane the best option for missions.

On Monday, August 29, 2022, the Artemis I mission will take off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This launch of the Orion spacecraft atop the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket will be the first moon rocket launch by the US in 50 years. The spacecraft will travel 1.3 million miles and re-enter Earth's atmosphere at 24,500 mph (Mach 32). Splashdown is scheduled for October 10, 2022.

This mission will test multiple systems in preparation for the first crewed launch with Artemis II. We're proud to support space exploration and research. We'll also be on-hand at the launch. Isolate IT continues to support multiple space agencies and rocket companies as a materials supplier for Sorbothane anti-vibration mounts and films
