Sorbothane rubber bumpers are pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed hemispheres that can be used as feet, stops, spacers and protectors in many applications. Each rubber pad can feature aggressive, high-tack pressure-sensitive 3M 200MP adhesive with a release liner, making application fast and easy. The unique Sorbothane urethane is a durable, resilient, polymer that provides outstanding vibration isolation and non-skid properties. Installation is quick and easy with no need for drilling, riveting or press fitting push-in feet. Sorbothane bumpers help absorb impact and noise and have excellent resistance to aging; they will not harden or crack over time. The smooth, clean, black urethane hemispheres serve as a modern and discreet rubber foot. Use them on trophies and desk-top items to act as a cushion and protect surfaces from scratching. Use them under audio and electronic equipment to prevent skipping and interference.

Primary applications include feet for small appliances, DJ sound mixing boards, electronic equipment, phones, keyboards, speakers, desk accessories, printers, laptops, computers, multimedia projectors, DVD players and audio receivers. The rubber pads can be used as spacers/dampers for automotive computers and circuit board rigidity and vibration isolation. They also work great for separating stacked glass and metal sheets. Sorbothane hemispheres can be used as non-slip spacers on medical tabletops, electronic assemblies. They are also useful as spacers to help protect delicate printed circuit boards from vibration and heat build-up.

Installation w/ PSA: Simply remove the protective backing liner, position the Sorbothane rubber hemisphere and press it into place. The unique urethane material won't crack, dry, scratch or mar surfaces. It will last for years to protect and isolate your valued possessions.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT Review by Amazon

I first ordered these semi-spherical feet (pads) out of curiosity, and was I pleasantly surprised. My first response was to laugh! They are fairly squishy, and elastically return to their original shape. For those of us that are old enough to remember, they feel like a very fresh Black Crow or Dots gum drop. I guess you should keep them away from young children.

The adhesive is durable. An interesting result of their stretchiness and stickiness is that they will stay put when used as foot pads under a vibrating object. While regular solid bumpers (e.g., Waxman) will tend to slip around over time as a result of glue degradation, the elasticity of the Sorbothane pad isolates the sticky surface from vibration and allows them to stay put. I suppose the Sorbothane pads would also be very good for isolating the vibration of a speaker from, e.g., a cabinet. (Posted on 1/26/16)
These work great! Much better than vinyl products from the hardware store! Review by Amazon

I have used other vibration products before, but these gave me greater choice over size and durometer - "squishyness". I like that the product lists the weight that each Hemisphere type is best for. I chose these as I had a few lightweight audiophile devices to reduce vibration with and hopefully enhance the audio coming from them. In my experience with a system designed to be revealing of subtle sound differences this can make at least a subtle and sometimes more than subtle difference in what is heard!
These arrived loose packed in a double plastic bag in excellent condition. The 3M backing was a tad tricky to pull off, but no big deal. I selected the most 'tinny' sounding areas under my components to apply these too, I found these by tapping around underneath. I decided to try this to also help dampen the most resonant area of the components box. I removed vinyl sticky feet I'd tried from the hardware store. The vinyl feet might be better than nothing but did little to inhibit vibration from reaching the components.
To my surprise both components responded well to the Isolateit Hemisphere's treatment: a Musical Fidelity V-Link, and Metrum Accoustics Mini Dac.
Images of instruments and voices became a bit more focused with a bit more attack. It's like the audio landscape settled down, bass was more coherent too. A nice upgrade!
I have seen graphs for how much vibration a sorbothane product can reduce, and they have a weight that corresponds to their most efficient range. This is why Isolateit having more products to choose from can help a tinkering audiophile maximize their potential gains. Price is friendly too!
Thanks Isolateit! (Posted on 1/26/16)

I prop up my Mac mini and hard drives and it seems to be keeping them cool with extra air flow under and over them now. I will be getting more as the vibration seems to disappear as well. (Posted on 1/26/16)
Too Soft and Sticky for Amp Support Review by Amazon
Price

Quality
I bought these to replace the rubber feet that came on a headphone amp that weighs 5 pounds. These feet are so soft and sticky they stick to the desk without adhesive about as well as the adhesive sticks to the amp. Every time I try to shift the amp a half inch I have to yank it off the desk and I'm afraid at some point the desk veneer will come off with the feet. If you're looking for something more solid just to raise your electrical equipment off a surface for breathing room, look elsewhere. I am. Granted the product description says these feet support between 0.2 lbs and 0.5 lbs per pad, so they aren't kidding! (Posted on 1/26/16)

Great feel, really isolates from vibration well, but these are seriously overpriced. The cover on the back to cover the sticky material is hard to get off without damaging the rubber slightly. You would expect a bit higher quality and durability for the price you are paying. (Posted on 1/26/16)

Very soft and squishy, much better than any others I've ever used. Completely stopped my bookshelf speakers from vibrating on the shelf. A little expensive but worth every penny. (Posted on 1/26/16)

These things are sweet, much better than a regular rubber foot. They are kinda gummy and soft so they spread out and do a much better job of isolating vibration. As the name suggests. Bigger is better especially if your boxes are heavy. (Posted on 1/26/16)

These are the most compliant of the sizes in my viewpoint. It's a bit too squishy, and doesn't have the weight-support load for much of anything. I initially used them for cosmetic purposes to cover a few turntable plinth holes, and it solved my minor problem.

I also used them under a few lightweight (under 10lbs) components and was pleasantly surprised the weight didn't overwhelm the connection to the shelf. I'm not crazy over the value, and feel it's a bit overpriced for what one's getting.

The larger formats do hold a lot more, and I believe would be more effective for a variety of applications. A little underwhelmed when one looks at the large market of footers available, albeit at a usually higher entry price. (Posted on 1/26/16)

These did not work well for my purpose. I wanted to reduce the amount of skidding on a small stool in the bathroom, but instead of sticking to the bottom of the stool, they stuck to the bathroom floor and detached from the stool. Others have mentioned that they stay on well, but I did not find this to be so. (Posted on 1/26/16)

Does what it's supposed to, keeps things from sliding and adds cushioning.

My use of these is extremely unusual, but they are perfect. I bought a small case for my phone, one with a cover that swings open like a book - like a kindle cover, but I have a tendency to put the phone down too hard, so I put these on the bottom of the case. They work great, and it doesn't slide around either. On the negative side, once they do get pulled off the surface it is placed on, they don't stick back on it again. (Posted on 1/26/16)

Ignore the previous reviewer. Giving a product a low score for doing exactly what it is supposed to doesn't make much sense. This product works as advertised although I wouldn't mind a lower price. (Posted on 1/26/16)

lowers vibrations and resonance, but they stick to whatever you place the device on and make it hard to move the device they are attached too. (Posted on 1/26/16)
