Using these in place of moon gel for my multicopter aerial photography. They work very well to eliminate the vibration and shake on the camera. (Posted on 9/17/2015)

Not enough Isolation for medium or bigger speakers, if your speakers are over 20lbs look for bigger size.

I bought these as my electrician installed a gable fan and my neighbors complained about the noise. So I had these installed and the difference is unbelievable! (Posted on 9/17/2015)
Great for small speakers on speaker stands Review by Amazon

I am setting up a small home theater with small bookshelf speakers that attach to speakers stands. I used four of these Isolate-it bushings between the bottom of the speaker and the mounting plate on the speaker stand. (one at each corner) Screws are employed to make sure the speakers don't get knocked off the stands. The result was very good. The speakers now sit on a soft cushion rather than a hard vibrating plate.Vantage Point SSB-30BB Adjustable Bookshelf Series Speaker Stands (Posted on 9/17/2015)
Too soft, of limited use Review by Amazon

This might work perfectly for noise isolation between materials which are only loosely bound together. In my case I was trying to isolate vibration and rattle between a heavy assembly and a metal housing. The assembly needed to be securely bolted to the housing, and even with drilling oversize holes to allow the ridge on these washers to protrude into the metal, which was the correct way to mount them, when tightening the assembly to the housing, these things are so soft they became a rubber smear and provided no isolation I can detect. I'm really not sure exactly how these should be used, but they are far too soft for use when you have to really tighten down down the things you are trying to sound isolate from one another.
