FANTASTIC PRODUCT Review by Amazon

I first ordered these semi-spherical feet (pads) out of curiosity, and was I pleasantly surprised. My first response was to laugh! They are fairly squishy, and elastically return to their original shape. For those of us that are old enough to remember, they feel like a very fresh Black Crow or Dots gum drop. I guess you should keep them away from young children.

The adhesive is durable. An interesting result of their stretchiness and stickiness is that they will stay put when used as foot pads under a vibrating object. While regular solid bumpers (e.g., Waxman) will tend to slip around over time as a result of glue degradation, the elasticity of the Sorbothane pad isolates the sticky surface from vibration and allows them to stay put. I suppose the Sorbothane pads would also be very good for isolating the vibration of a speaker from, e.g., a cabinet. (Posted on 1/26/2016)
These work great! Much better than vinyl products from the hardware store! Review by Amazon

I have used other vibration products before, but these gave me greater choice over size and durometer - "squishyness". I like that the product lists the weight that each Hemisphere type is best for. I chose these as I had a few lightweight audiophile devices to reduce vibration with and hopefully enhance the audio coming from them. In my experience with a system designed to be revealing of subtle sound differences this can make at least a subtle and sometimes more than subtle difference in what is heard!
These arrived loose packed in a double plastic bag in excellent condition. The 3M backing was a tad tricky to pull off, but no big deal. I selected the most 'tinny' sounding areas under my components to apply these too, I found these by tapping around underneath. I decided to try this to also help dampen the most resonant area of the components box. I removed vinyl sticky feet I'd tried from the hardware store. The vinyl feet might be better than nothing but did little to inhibit vibration from reaching the components.
To my surprise both components responded well to the Isolateit Hemisphere's treatment: a Musical Fidelity V-Link, and Metrum Accoustics Mini Dac.
Images of instruments and voices became a bit more focused with a bit more attack. It's like the audio landscape settled down, bass was more coherent too. A nice upgrade!
I have seen graphs for how much vibration a sorbothane product can reduce, and they have a weight that corresponds to their most efficient range. This is why Isolateit having more products to choose from can help a tinkering audiophile maximize their potential gains. Price is friendly too!
Thanks Isolateit! (Posted on 1/26/2016)

5.0 out of 5 stars... hard drives and it seems to be keeping them cool with extra air flow under and over them now Review by Amazon

I prop up my Mac mini and hard drives and it seems to be keeping them cool with extra air flow under and over them now. I will be getting more as the vibration seems to disappear as well. (Posted on 1/26/2016)
Too Soft and Sticky for Amp Support Review by Amazon

I bought these to replace the rubber feet that came on a headphone amp that weighs 5 pounds. These feet are so soft and sticky they stick to the desk without adhesive about as well as the adhesive sticks to the amp. Every time I try to shift the amp a half inch I have to yank it off the desk and I'm afraid at some point the desk veneer will come off with the feet. If you're looking for something more solid just to raise your electrical equipment off a surface for breathing room, look elsewhere. I am. Granted the product description says these feet support between 0.2 lbs and 0.5 lbs per pad, so they aren't kidding! (Posted on 1/26/2016)

Great feel, really isolates from vibration well Review by Amazon

Great feel, really isolates from vibration well, but these are seriously overpriced. The cover on the back to cover the sticky material is hard to get off without damaging the rubber slightly. You would expect a bit higher quality and durability for the price you are paying. (Posted on 1/26/2016)

These r very nice they stick great stay put and keep items from sliding . They squish down like gummy bears . Buy the dia based on the size and weight of your item . I would say that the half inch size is good up to 6 lb item. (Posted on 1/26/2016)
