Installing ShockTape on a Tennis Racquet

1. Remove the old grip tape and make sure to sanitize the original grip. Be sure to get rid of as much adhesive and residue as possible by using rubbing alcohol.

2. Wrap the handle with ShockTape starting with the tapered side while gradually removing the adhesive backing. Do not over stretch as this causes the tape to tear. Some tension is recommended during wrapping.

3. Cut the end of the tape to finish the grip.

4. Apply an overwrap tape to the racquet. Materials consisting of cloth, rubber, leather or synthetic leather are acceptable in order to keep the ShockTape long-lasting.
